Baby Shower

So I had my baby shower this past Thursday (the 9th).  I think there were about 50+ people there, it was CRAZY!  Everyone was incredibly generous, and I think that we are going to have the most stylish little girl around with all the clothes we got!  I guess people just can't resist how cute baby girl clothes are :).  We also received enough in gift cards that we were able to buy  a travel system stroller (with car seat) and a pack-n-play/bassinet.  So all we really need to get now is the boring stuff, i.e. breast pump and accessories, and diapers and wipes and such.  If any moms out there have suggestions on where to find coupons or good deals on diapers, please share your wisdom!

I think that this is going to be one loved and spoiled baby!  THANK YOU EVERYONE!

oh WOW that is a lot of clothes. Good grief!
Diapers....Costco, of course, but I always hated huggies. The Kroger Comforts brand at the grocery stores are from 6 - 7 dollars a package, which isn't so bad. Cheapest breast pumps for rent or to buy are at the baby/mom store in the Good Samaritan hospital. They make sure they have the lowest prices, and a variety of choices. I think you can also get a coupon...I'd ask them. It's in the labor and delivery section. But if you're planning on breast feeding and only need one for a short time, then you could just rent.

I love the colors and polka dot pattern on the travel system. I think I want something for me like that though I'm not sure what.

Thanks Jen, we got the travel system at Target and it was a pretty good price too.

Ok, Ryan read your blog and he was like, "MAN that little girl has a ton of clothes already." It was just kind of funny.

So sorry we had to miss it. Looks like you got a ton of darling clothes! We have a present for you, but it's something we can't give until the baby is already born--you'll understand when you see it. So, I'll have it all ready as soon as we see you guys after she comes. I really hope the playdate works out next time. Let us know when you guys can come up. I know Nick is probably really busy--we have next Friday and Saturday wide open--as in the first of May--Let me know.
