So we have officially been a parents for 2 weeks now, and I have come up with an idea that will revolutionize the world of parenting................The Baby Beer Hat. (Ok, don't freak out, in this case it would be a milk hat, not a beer hat). If Leah isn't sleeping or pooping, she is eating. Sometimes it's every 4 hours, sometimes its every hour, and she lets us know she's hungry by screaming. So, this hands free invention would allow her to just drink at her leasure, and would give us a few free moments to do something besides feed, hold, or change her. I don't know, I think I'm on to something :)
Ok, on a more serious note, things are going really great. We have the most beautiful baby in the world (seriously), and my parents have been so kind to let us stay with them for a few days to help out. Leah seems to be starting to figure out the difference between night and day, and we have even managed to get about 3 1/2 hours of sleep in a row. We're learning to not freak out about every little noise she makes and this whole parenting thing is starting to seem a lot more doable. I'll try to post again soon, and get some more pictures up too.

Great idea on the "milk" hat. It sure would come in handy at 2AM. I'm glad to hear things are going well. The first few weeks are grueling but it gets better. That's nice your parents have let you stay with them. That's got to be tons of help. And soon, you might even be able to go somewhere outside : ) Let us know when a good time would be to come over again. We want to come see you guys soon : )

We are the lucky ones! Do they have support groups for grandparents...I will need one when they go back to their house. Leah got to meet her great grandparents too (my mom and dad).
