Thanksgiving and updates

We had a great Thanksgiving, just simple and relaxing.  Nick and I ate at my parents house and then we spent the rest of the afternoon playing Rock Band 2.  The food was good and it was nice to just be able to relax and hang out.

Nick had the week of Thanksgiving off of school so we decided that it was a good time to start clearing out the room that is going to become the nursery.  We have been using that room as an office, so we moved the desks and computer up to our bedroom.  We emptied out the room and cleaned out the closet (thanks to my parents for storing a lot of our stuff in their basement).  So now the room is empty, with the exception of a few things we still need to go through, and just waiting to be painted and filled with baby furniture.

We love having the office stuff upstairs, it's convenient and looks really nice, and we really wanted the baby to have it's own room without a bunch of other stuff in it.

We always put up our Christmas decorations after Thanksgiving.  So on Saturday, when everything was cleared out and the house was cleaned up from all our rearranging, we worked on decorating for Christmas.  I love Christmas time!
