Leah turned 4 months on the 21st and had her 4 month check up on the 23rd. She did pretty well this time, she was already crying before they gave her the shots, so it didn't seem as bad when she started crying with the shots. She had a couple hard nights after her shots, but she has been doing really well since. Our night time routine has changed now because Leah has become more aware, and if we try to put her in her bed when she's already asleep, she immediately wakes up, so we have been teaching her to fall asleep on her own. It seems to have taken about a week for her to get the hang of it. Tonight, I put her down, and I didn't have to go back in at all, she fell asleep almost right away. She still wakes up a little earlier then we'd like (between 5:30 and 6:30) but it's not too bad and hopefully that will change.
She's also been rolling onto her stomach a lot, which seems to really frustrate her. Almost every time we put her on the floor, she goes right onto her stomach and it doesn't take her long to get frustrated. I think that she is desperately trying to crawl. I'm sure I'll take this back when it happens, but I hope that she will learn to crawl soon.
We're still working on her nap schedule. Today while I was at work, Nick got her to take a 2hr nap it her crib! I was so impressed. This has been a struggle for me because it is so hard for me to listen to her cry, but Nick said that she cried for about 8 minutes before she fell asleep, so that's not bad at all. I'll just have to work up the courage to do it myself :)

These two pictures were taken by my aunt's sister, she is an amazing photographer and I am so happy she was willing to take some pictures of Leah
