Christmas and a LOT of pictures

Soooo it's been a while since I last updated, but we've been pretty busy. Leah is crawling all over the place and climbing on everything, so she's keeping us on our toes these days. Below is a BUNCH of pictures from Christmas, and since I know that most of you who tune in to this blog are here for Leah updates, I'm going to keep the words to a minimum and let you enjoy the pictures. I will get around to a (somewhat) non-Leah related post for those of you (if anyone :)) who care about what Nick and I are up to .

We decided not to take Leah to see Santa at the mall. We figured with all the flu's and other illnesses going around, that it wasn't the best environment for a 7 month old. So instead we took her to our church Christmas party to see "Santa" Unfortunately, after I took a couple pictures, the battery on my camera died, so I didn't get any pictures of her with Santa :( Luckily though, a couple nice people did take some pictures of her for me and as soon as they send them to me I will post them.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at my parents house. My cousin Becca (below) and her fiance Eric came over along with my cousin Emily and her boyfriend Rick. (Leah is in just her diaper because she had a minor "explosion" and we didn't have spare clothes for her)

Nick and I hosted Christmas Day at our house. Below are pictures of our Christmas decorations (our trees were on the counter this year to keep out of Leah's destructive path). Nick cooked a wonderful Christmas dinner and I baked a yummy almond cake for dessert.

Leah was very spoiled by both sets of grandparents. She loved all her toys, but I think she might have loved the wrapping paper a little more :). (Sorry for the poor quality in some of these pictures).

After Christmas, my friend Nikki and I went to the mall. This was her first time meeting Leah, and I think Leah has made a new friend. While we we're at the mall, we ran into our old friend Alyssa, who had a baby girl the day after Leah.

Leah and Teagan were very curious about each other, and they even had matching outfits :)

Very cute! I love her expression when her grandpa is holding her. :)
