Swinging on the bar, her absolute favorite thing to do.
If I don't do this now Leah will be 3 by the time I get around to blogging about her 2nd birthday. It's hard to believe that my baby girl is 2. She's definitely not a baby anymore. Sometimes I just look at her and am amazed at the person she is becoming, Nick and I are so blessed to have her in our lives. She has the most amazing personality and there is not a day that goes by that she doesn't make us laugh or smile. That's not to be said that she doesn't have her difficult moments either. She is very strong willed and if something doesn't go her way, she doesn't hesitate to let you know. I found this quote online and I want to record it here because I love it, and it really is so true :
It's amazing how much your life changes after having a child and it's such a wonderful change. Leah gives me such an amazing view of the world. Every little thing is so exciting to her, if she hears a bird chirping or sees a bunny she gets irrationally excited about it. She reminds me everyday to enjoy things that I might other wise ignore or be annoyed by.
We celebrated her birthday with a party at The Little Gym. Leah goes here once a week for gymnastics class and we entered a contest and won a birthday party. We talked about her party for weeks before it happened and she was so excited. Every night while putting her to bed she would make me tell her about what her party was going to be, and who was coming and what kind of cupcakes she was going to have. She was incredibly excited about the cupcakes. They were decorated with Rapunzel from the movie Tangled, she loves that movie and decided that those were the kind of cupcakes she wanted.
