Happy Halloween

We had our ward Halloween party this past Saturday.  I love Halloween, and dressing up and all that, and in the past few years I've been able to get Nick pretty in to it as well.  This year I wanted to keep our costumes pretty simple because of how I've been feeling.  And also after last year, I owed it to Nick to do more simple costumes.  Last year we were thing one and thing two (imagine the two of us in bright red sweat suits and neon blue wigs) Nick was a good sport for going along with it.  So this year our costumes consisted of things we already owned, and $2 worth of hair dye.  And just as a disclaimer, there was no political agenda behind the costumes.

So in case you didn't figure it out, we were John McCain and Sarah Palin.  We tried to make Nick's eyebrows white like his hair, but it ended up turning his skin white more then his eyebrows.  The party was a lot of fun and Nick and I won the categories for best adult couple and best likeness in the costume contest.  We won a pumpkin.  Now we are having fun thinking of family costumes for next year when we have the baby.

That is hillarious. When I glanced at the picture I was wondering who you were standing with, maybe a stake president or your grandpa! No offense Nick, but you do look much younger with brown hair. You guys are funny.
